Australian Himalyan Foundation
Ascent Private Wealth has a relationship with the Australian Himalyan Foundation, who are an Australian Charity who support people in need in Nepal.
Mark O’Toole was one of the founding Directors and Company Secretary’s of the Australian Himalyan Foundation. Due to this relationship, Ascent Private Wealth have been able to give their clients the ability to donate to Nepal. Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre
Ascent Private Wealth are also a major fundraiser for the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre.
We have chosen Peter Mac as a charity of choice due to several members of Founder Mark O’Toole’s family being touched by Cancer.
Ascent Private Wealth raised over $20,000 for the foundation by completing the Conquer Cancer Ride on October 25th & 26th 2014. Team Ascent consisted of clients and staff who rode over 200 km through the Mornington Peninsula to raise money for Cancer research. The funds raised went towards better treatment with less side effects for those being treated with cancer.

Ascent Private Wealth are proud sponsors of the Melbourne Aces, who are a professional baseball team in the Australian Baseball League based in Melbourne. Their home field is Melbourne Ballpark, Laverton. Ascent Private Wealth support the team due to founder, Mark O’Toole, and his daughter, Louisa, having a keen interest in baseball.
